The SEALY® Boxspring - Low Profile 5″ is a slim, space-savvy foundation built on a solid wood frame with the SealySupport™ one-piece steel grid. Made in Canada, its low 5″ build is the perfect match for a loftier mattress or a larger bed frame — keeping the whole set at an easy, accessible height. It pairs with any mattress — foam, latex, or pocket coil — stands 5″ (12.7 cm) tall, and is backed by a 10-year warranty.
Key Features
Slim 5″ low profile
Keeps a loftier mattress or a larger frame at an accessible, easy-to-get-into height instead of sitting too tall.
SealySupport™ steel grid
A one-piece steel performance grid over a solid wood frame, engineered for shock-absorbing, even support.
Helps minimize motion transfer
The semi-flex wire frame absorbs movement, helping reduce motion transfer between sleep partners.
Non-Skid Top & corner guards
A non-slip stretch-knit top grips the mattress, while corner guards protect the edges. Fabric may vary.
Made in Canada
Built in Canada from responsibly sourced, SFI / FSC / CSA-certified wood.
Benefits
An accessible bed height — at a slim 5″, it keeps a taller mattress or larger frame easy to sit on and easy to get into.
Steady, shock-absorbing support — the SealySupport™ steel grid holds your mattress flat and evenly supported.
Calmer nights together — the semi-flex wire frame helps minimize motion transfer between sleep partners.
Protects your investment — a steady foundation supports the mattress to help prevent sagging and extend its life.
What’s Inside
How the foundation is built, and how to keep it.
Support core — solid wood with SealySupport™ steel grid
A solid Spruce/Pine/Fir (SPF) wood frame carries the SealySupport™ one-piece steel wire grid — a shock-absorbing semi-flex support system that keeps the mattress evenly held and also helps minimize motion transfer between sleep partners. The unit is vented to let the mattress breathe.
Cover — Non-Skid Top
A non-quilted stretch-knit, non-slip fabric tops the foundation and grips the mattress so it stays put, with corner guards protecting the edges for a clean, finished look. Fabric may vary.
Care
Spot clean only. Vacuum and air the foundation out periodically to keep it fresh.
