You may come across a mattress on sale at an unbelievable price that may seem too good to be true. 50% OFF, 60% OFF, 75% OFF ONE DAY ONLY! Don’t let that fool you. Just because a mattress says it used to cost $4,000 and now its on sale for $1,00 doesn’t always mean it’s a great deal. Always look at the specifications of the mattress. The coil count, the layers inside, how thick are those layers, and ultimately compare those specifications to other mattresses in the same price range. Compare those specifications to other mattresses at other retailers.
You may be surprised to learn that the same $4,000 mattress on sale for $1,000 is priced at regular price somewhere else for $2000 and on sale for $800. Don’t look at the overall discount, it’s the final price that counts and what’s inside the mattress!
