Where it goes in the room — nothing has to be left clear around the deck, so it will sit down inside whatever frame is holding your mattress today; on the 12″ post legs it is a bed by itself. A headboard bracket accessory ties your existing headboard to the base.

The NM 1.0 Rise is the simplest base in the Lifestyle line to live with — a straightforward head-and-foot lift that asks for very little upkeep. Here is how to keep it that way, and where to turn if it ever needs attention.

Care & maintenance
Fabric surfaces are spot clean only — a lightly damp cloth with mild soap, never soaking or harsh cleaners.
Keep the area under and around the base clear so the lift motors can travel through their full range freely.
Re-check that the legs and any headboard-bracket hardware are snug after the first month of use, then a couple of times a year.
Pair it with a flexible mattress (memory foam or pocket coil) designed for adjustable bases.
Troubleshooting basics
Base not responding? Check that the power cord is fully seated at the base and the wall outlet is live — test without a power bar first.
Missed or weak commands are usually the remote — start with fresh batteries.
Unplug the base for 30 seconds, then plug it back in; this resets the control box and clears most glitches.
