Is it good for couples and motion isolation?

It is solid for couples. The 600 coils are each sealed in their own fabric pocket, so they compress independently and a partner turning over reaches you as a muted nudge, scoring 8.0 for motion isolation. That said, a thin 2.5-inch comfort layer absorbs less than a deep foam bed, so isolation is good rather than best-in-class. For most light sleepers beside a restless partner it rests easy; pure foam isolates marginally more.
