How well does it isolate motion for couples?

Quite well for a coil bed. Each of the 800 coils is sealed in its own fabric pocket, so when one side compresses the neighbouring coils stay put, earning an 8.0 out of 10 motion score with peak transfer measured in the 3.1 to 6.4 m/s2 range. Movement settles in about a second. The thin 1-inch comfort layer means it will not absorb surface energy as completely as a thick memory-foam bed, but a restless partner is well managed.
