How strong is the edge support?

The edge is soft, which is the honest trade-off on an all-foam soft bed, scoring 8.4. With no coil or encasement at the perimeter, edge sinkage measures in the 4.9 to 7.0 inch range, more give than a reinforced coil bed. Lying down, you still get usable surface to the edge, but sitting on the side to dress, you will feel it compress under you. That give is the same foam that delivers the deep cradle everywhere else.
