Does this ultra plush hybrid need a box spring?
No box spring is required. This 16-inch hybrid has 4700 foam-encased pocket coils that support themselves on any firm, flat base: a platform bed, slats spaced under 3 inches apart, or an adjustable frame. A traditional flexing box spring can work against the coil system and is not recommended. A solid foundation keeps the zoned coils performing evenly and protects the 10-year warranty. Given the bed's height and weight, use a sturdy, well-built frame.
