Does this foam mattress need a box spring?
No box spring is required, and using a traditional sagging box spring is not recommended. This all-foam mattress needs a solid, flat, fully supportive surface underneath: a platform bed, solid slats, or a bunkie board all work. Slats should sit no more than about 7.5 cm apart so the foam does not bow between gaps. A rigid base also protects the 25-year warranty.
