Does this foam mattress need a box spring or special foundation?
No box spring. As an all-foam mattress it needs a solid, flat, evenly supportive base: a platform bed, slats spaced no wider than three inches, or a bunkie board. An unsupportive or sagging base lets the foam dip or fold in the centre over time and can void the warranty. Any rigid, gap-free surface keeps the 7-inch high-density core fully supported and level.
