Does this 12-inch foam mattress need a box spring?

This 12-inch all-foam mattress needs a flat, rigid surface: a solid platform, a foundation, or slats spaced under about 7.6 cm apart. Wider gaps let the foam sag into them and can void the warranty. A plain frame with a non-flexing foundation or close-set slats supports the medium build evenly.
