Do I need a box spring with this mattress?
No box spring is required. This 10-inch hybrid needs only firm, even support: a platform bed, a slatted base with gaps under 3 inches, an adjustable base, or a solid box foundation all work. A traditional spring box spring is also fine if the surface is flat. The goal is preventing the pocket coils from sagging through wide gaps, which protects the 10-year warranty.
