Do I need a box spring, or can it go on an adjustable base?
No box spring is required. This 12-inch hybrid needs a flat, supportive base such as a platform bed, a solid foundation, or closely-spaced slats. It is also rated compatible with an adjustable base and will flex at the head and foot. The foam-encased coils give it good edge support so it holds its shape near the sides. Avoid wide-gap slats, which can leave the coils and foam unsupported.
