Do I need a box spring, or can I put it on an adjustable base?
No box spring is needed. As a 12-inch all-foam mattress it needs a flat, supportive surface: a platform bed, solid foundation, closely-spaced slats, or a bunkie board. It is also rated compatible with an adjustable base, so it flexes at the head and foot without harming the foam. Wide-gap slats should be avoided, since unsupported foam can sag and that is not covered by the warranty.
