Do gel, copper, and graphite really cool the mattress?
They help, but in a limited way. Gel, copper, and graphite are conductive, so they pull heat away from your body and spread it through the foam, which delays the warm feeling. That means the surface stays comfortable longer before it heats up. They do not actively chill you all night and cannot replace real airflow from coils and a breathable cover for sustained cooling.
