Can memory foam be made to sleep cooler?

Yes, to a point. Open-cell memory foam, gel or graphite infusions, and a perforated or breathable cover all help vent heat that solid memory foam would otherwise trap. A foam bed with these features sleeps noticeably cooler than a plain one. It still will not match a coil hybrid for airflow, because foam fills the space coils leave open for air to move.
