Serta mattresses balance comfort and support with cooling-gel foams and proven coil systems, from a name trusted in Canadian bedrooms for decades. Compare every option below by feel, size, and price.
The Serta® Arctic line brings Reactex® pressure-activated cooling to National Mattress. Lie down and the cooling switches on — a cool sensation in about eight seconds as body heat is drawn off the surface and stored away from you, then released during the day so the pillow resets itself for the next night. The Arctic Cooling Fiber Pillow is a plush, extra-thick gusseted pillow in a queen 20" × 30" profile, filled with soft hypoallergenic fiberfill and tested to sleep 15x cooler than standard non-Reactex® pillows. The cooling works on both faces, so whichever side you turn to is the cool side. Backed by a 3-year warranty with free Canada-wide delivery.

How to Choose Between Mattress Brands
National Mattress carries the major mattress brands under one roof — Beautyrest, Serta and Sealy, homegrown Canadian makers like Springwall, Chirofoam, Evergreen and Marshall Mattress, and our own NM house line. A brand name tells you who built a mattress, not how it will feel: two beds from the same maker can sleep completely differently, and two beds from rival makers can sleep almost identically. That’s why the useful order of operations is feel first, then size, then brand — picking a comfort level narrows the field without locking you into a single manufacturer.
Each line earns its place differently. Beautyrest brought pocketed coils into mass production; Tempur-Pedic brought memory foam to mattresses; Stearns & Foster anchors the premium end; Mlily leans into memory foam and hybrids; and Evergreen builds certified organic latex. Not every line here is a mattress brand, either — HealthGuard, Natura, Leggett & Platt, Sinca and Aireloom cover protectors, pillows, bedding, adjustable bases and bed frames instead. Whichever label you land on, every mattress here carries the same 365-night sleep trial, and the advice comes from sleep experts who aren’t paid commission.
Canadian-Built Depth
The mattresses we stock from Beautyrest, Serta, Springwall, Sealy, Chirofoam, Evergreen and Marshall Mattress are built in Canadian factories.
One Trial, Every Brand
Every mattress — whichever brand builds it — includes the 365-night sleep trial, so choosing between labels never means gambling a year’s sleep. Clearance and discontinued stock is the exception: it’s sold as-is.
Compare Brands in Person
Floor models are shared across our seven Ontario showrooms — if a style is on display at any store, its sizes can be ordered company-wide, stock permitting.
Price-Matched, Then Beaten
Find a lower price on the same or a comparable mattress at an authorised Canadian dealer and we’ll match it and beat it — compared on construction, not the name on the label.
