How to Choose Between Mattress Brands

National Mattress carries the major mattress brands under one roof — Beautyrest, Serta and Sealy, homegrown Canadian makers like Springwall, Chirofoam, Evergreen and Marshall Mattress, and our own NM house line. A brand name tells you who built a mattress, not how it will feel: two beds from the same maker can sleep completely differently, and two beds from rival makers can sleep almost identically. That’s why the useful order of operations is feel first, then size, then brand — picking a comfort level narrows the field without locking you into a single manufacturer.

Each line earns its place differently. Beautyrest brought pocketed coils into mass production; Tempur-Pedic brought memory foam to mattresses; Stearns & Foster anchors the premium end; Mlily leans into memory foam and hybrids; and Evergreen builds certified organic latex. Not every line here is a mattress brand, either — HealthGuard, Natura, Leggett & Platt, Sinca and Aireloom cover protectors, pillows, bedding, adjustable bases and bed frames instead.
