Queen Split Head Medium Cooling Fabric Copper, Charcoal or Graphite Infusion Memory Foam Foam Core All
A cooling fabric cover is knit with special yarns or treated with phase-change material that absorbs heat, so the surface feels cool when you lie down and helps move warmth away. It is the first layer your body touches, so it works well with cooling foams underneath. For beds built around cooling overall, see Cooling Technology under Product Features.
These mattresses blend copper, charcoal, graphite or similar minerals into their foam layers or cover fabric. These materials conduct heat well, helping move warmth away from your body, and are also used to help keep the mattress fresh by resisting odour. A good place to start if you sleep warm and want cooling built into the materials themselves.
Every mattress here has at least one layer of memory foam, in the comfort layers or quilted into the cover. Memory foam softens with body heat and slowly moulds to your shape, easing pressure at the shoulders and hips and absorbing movement. You will find it in all-foam beds and in hybrids, where it sits above pocket coils. For all-foam memory foam beds only, use Mattress Type.
Foam core mattresses have no springs. The support comes from a core of high-density foam, with comfort layers of memory foam, gel foam or responsive foam on top. Foam absorbs movement, so a partner turning over is hard to feel, and with no coils the bed stays quiet. Use Mattress Type to choose between Memory Foam and Foam for the feel of the layers.
