Queen Copper, Charcoal or Graphite Infusion Memory Foam Latex Core All
These mattresses blend copper, charcoal, graphite or similar minerals into their foam layers or cover fabric. These materials conduct heat well, helping move warmth away from your body, and are also used to help keep the mattress fresh by resisting odour. A good place to start if you sleep warm and want cooling built into the materials themselves.
Every mattress here has at least one layer of memory foam, in the comfort layers or quilted into the cover. Memory foam softens with body heat and slowly moulds to your shape, easing pressure at the shoulders and hips and absorbing movement. You will find it in all-foam beds and in hybrids, where it sits above pocket coils. For all-foam memory foam beds only, use Mattress Type.
Latex core mattresses use latex as the support core instead of springs or standard foam. Latex is springier than memory foam, so you rest on top of the bed rather than sinking into it, and its open-cell structure breathes well. It is also one of the longest lasting mattress materials. Many latex core beds add latex comfort layers on top.
