Beautyrest® Box Springs
Beautyrest mattresses are built on individually wrapped pocketed coils that contour to your body and minimize motion transfer, often paired with cooling cover technology. Compare every option below by feel, size, and price.
Shop box springs by mattress size: a queen box spring (60″ × 80″) is our most popular, and king split box springs come in two pieces to clear tight stairways and hallways. We also stock double box springs (54″ × 75″) and twin box springs (39″ × 75″) for smaller rooms. Every size comes in standard and low-profile heights.

How to Choose the Right Box Spring Profile Height
The most important decision when buying a box spring is selecting the correct profile height for your bed setup. A standard-profile box spring (7–9″) pairs with a metal bed frame to bring your sleep surface to a traditional 24–26″ height, ideal if you don’t use a headboard or footboard. A low-profile box spring (4–5″) is designed for thicker mattresses (12″+) or platform-style bed frames where you need to keep overall height in check. For the lowest possible profile, NM® platform foundations stand just 2″ tall and work well inside panel beds or with extra-thick pillow-top mattresses.
All box springs at National Mattress use solid wood frames built from kiln-dried spruce, pine, or fir (SPF) lumber with steel wire support grids and non-skid top fabric to prevent mattress shifting. Split box springs are available in Queen and King sizes from every brand, essential when a one-piece foundation won’t fit up narrow staircases or around tight corners. Every box spring is backed by the manufacturer’s warranty, and NM® and Springwall models are manufactured in Canadian factories.
Three Profile Heights
Standard (7–9″), low-profile (4–5″), and platform (2″) options to match any bed frame and mattress thickness.
Solid Wood Construction
Kiln-dried SPF lumber frames with steel wire grids and corner guards provide stable, even support across the full mattress surface.
Split Box Springs Available
Queen and King split foundations for easy delivery through narrow hallways, doorways, and staircases.
