90 Night Comfort Guarantee

Sometimes it takes a few nights after sleeping on your new mattress to realize that it may be too firm or too soft. We understand that trying the mattress at our store for 5-10 minutes does not give you the same experience as actually sleeping on it for a full night.  This is why we have our industry leading 90 night comfort guarantee.

Although it is rare that our customers do not absolutely love their new mattress from National Mattress, we offer 90 nights (from purchase date) for you to decide if it is the right one for you.  If you decide that you are not getting the best night’s sleep, simply exchange it for a different mattress of equal or lesser value, or upgrade to a more expensive mattress and pay the difference.

Returns & Exchanges

For Customers in the Greater Toronto Area:

There are absolutely no hidden fees like many of our competitors have.  Mattress stores require that you purchase “extended warranty” with a mattress protector at the point of sale. This typically ranges from $100-$150, and then they charge additional fees for the actual exchange (usually $50 -$100 extra) . All of our customers are permitted 1(one) exchange if the following conditions are met:

 

✔️ There is $95 exchange fee IF you decide to exchange your mattress. (We DO NOT resell used mattresses so this fee covers our recycling/disposal fees).

 ✔️ To qualify for the exchange, mattresses must be exchanged in their original packaging.

 ✔️ Mattresses are eligible for exchange after 15 days of delivery to allow time for your body to adjust to your new mattress.

✔️It’s simple and hassle free….we promise!

❌ National Mattress does not offer any refunds once a mattress has been delivered.

❌ There will be no additional discounts, price matching, or offers provided on exchanged mattress.

❌ Custom size and special order mattresses, as well as clearance and closeout products, are not eligible for exchanges. All accessories such as bed frames, box springs, mattress protectors, and pillows are final sale.

Mattresses must be exchanged for a mattress of the same size as original purchase and must be exchanged in satisfactory condition with no physical damage, stains, or scuffs.

For Customers Outside of the Greater Toronto Area:

Our exchange policy works a bit different for our customers outside of the GTA. Typically online mattress brands claim that they donate your exchanged mattress to a local charity. This is not true majority of the time. The mattresses are actually picked up by disposal companies and taken to landfills. This is the easiest and cheapest option for companies but terrible for our environment. To help reduce the amount of mattresses ending up in landfills, we require our customers to send the product back to be handled accordingly. All of our customers are permitted 1(one) exchange if the following conditions are met:

✔️ Customers outside of the GTA are responsible for selecting a courier and sending the mattress back to one of our locations in the GTA. To qualify for the exchange, the customer must send a picture to [email protected] so we can ensure the mattress is in satisfactory condition.

(To avoid these fees, donate your mattress to a local shelter or charity of your choice and provide us with a taxable receipt. The receipt must be from a registered organization operating as a non profit)

✔️ The Mattress must be exchanged in its original packaging.

 ✔️ Mattresses are eligible for exchange after 15 days of delivery to allow time for your body to adjust to your new mattress.

All mattresses come with the original manufacturer warranty that protects your purchase from defects. We will be glad to assist you with any warranty concerns. Your purchase is backed by our 90-day comfort guarantee. To exchange an order, call us at 1-800-631-4883, or call your local store. In order for you mattress to be eligible for an exchange it needs to meet the following criteria:  must be exchanged in satisfactory condition with no physical damage, stains, or scuffs,  along with all product literature, original packaging materials, and blank warranty cards.

There will be NO REFUNDS once an item is opened.  Refunds will only be issued on unopened items, within 48 hours of pickup or delivery  Once an item is opened, the 90 Night Comfort Guarantee will only be valid.  Please remember that incurred shipping and handling expenses are non-refundable on all refunds. All sales are final on closeout and clearance items.

If you require an exchange, you may either purchase the new item in which case the new item will be shipped ASAP. Once the return item is received pursuit to our exchange policy a refund will be issued.
